Sunday, Mitchel and I celebrated our 6 year anniversary. We actually celebrated Saturday with dinner & a movie. I gave him a twinkie lunch box:) filled with favorite candy- candy apparently is the traditional 6 year anniversary gift. We planned to be cheap & easy for our anniversary because he's planned us a trip to San Antonio....in July. We can't wait. 4 days away. We'll miss our girl like crazy, but it'll be fun to do as we please for a few days. Plus summer wears us out, so it'll be a nice break, period!
So, to my husband who's an excellently, wonderful father,
my (and Lilly's) very best friend,
and perfect, and patient, and kind, and loving, and romantic, and my favorite...Happy Anniversary.
Can't wait for sixTY MORE years:). I love you tons!
One of the things we love (as I'm sure you all do as well) about summer are the quick dinners on the grill. Yummy, smells great, makes the neighbors jealous:), & overall pretty healthy. Parker has joined in on the fun this year. She loves the fire that Mitchel makes to get the charcoal going (yes, we're old school). She looks for rolly polies, sits in her chair, drives her car, and cries whenever Mitchel brings her back inside. Ahh. What a life:).
Nice, hot afternoon in the sun.
What's this Daddy? I can just hear her now...
Mimi gave Parker this chair last year....if the backdoor opens, she's running to sit in that chair:).
