Lincoln Life {4 months}

Well. I got behind. No surprise, but, bummer.
Lincoln was 5 months on March 24.
Here's a look at him at 4 months:

Dear Lincoln,
You are still just about the cutest thing I've ever seen.
You smile so big.
And you laugh all the time.
Which means you get squished, squeezed, kissed & cuddled all. the. time.

You are a pro at rolling over from your back to your belly.
Around 4 1/2 months you started rolling from your belly to your back.
I figured it out when I put you on the floor, walked into the kitchen, then turned around to look at you & you were gone.
You're like a rolling ninja.

 At 4 months you…
weigh 17 lbs 4 oz (78th%),
are 27 1/2 in long (above 98th%!),
& your head is 17 in round (85th%).
I compared you to your sister & brothers.
You are by far the longest & heaviest baby, with Truett in second, Tucker third & little bitty Parker coming in last place with her tiny self.
And we love every square inch of you.

Your head is covered in sweet, blonde fuzz.
You are in 3-6 month clothes, barely, & moving nicely on into 6-9/6-12 month.
Your feet are long.
You wear a size 3 diaper now.
You don't eat any solid food yet, but that's ok, because clearly mom eats more than enough for the both of us.
You still squeal/screech super loud.
You don't like being in your car seat if it's not moving.
You get quiet in the car if we play Annie songs.
Thank you Parker.
You are always happy when dad or I hold you.
You sleep about 6 hours straight at night, most nights, with lots of good naps during the day.
You still sleep in our room at night, but mostly in your crib for naps.
You prefer to cry it out in your crib than be rocked to sleep.
I prefer the rocking. And cuddling. And I'm your mom, so occasionally you just have to deal.
You can sleep through lots of loud brothers & sister noise. It's kind of amazing.
You no longer like your paci. In fact, you get quite offended if we even touch it to your lips.
You stick your bottom lip out when you cry. Which makes anyone close by feel terribly sad for you.
You're starting to grab toys & put them in your mouth.
You like to sit in your bouncy seat on the counter with me while I cook.
You love being tossed in the air.
You have a really great sense of humor already…you laugh easy.
We like that around here.

And you're just plain sweet.
Little Linc, we sure do love you.
A lot a lot.
Thanks for being a part of our family.
God knew we'd just love you to pieces.
Happy 4 months dude!
Love, Mama
