Baby Man's First Year {Truett 10 months}

10  months.
Truett, at 10 months, you've officially roped us in & tied us around your finger.
And you are BUSY.
A blur of constant motion.
Until you need a cuddle. Or food. Or a nap...

And you were not very cooperative for your little photo shoot.
Memories baby.
At 10 months you have 2 teeth that are all the way in on the bottom.
They actually started growing in last month, but I forgot to document that...
You love to be read to. Some of your favorites were your brother & sister's favorites too.
Sandra Boynton knows what's up with babies.
You jabber a lot. Saying dadada, bababa, a-di, no, no, no, uh oh, & lots of other silly noises that make us smile.
Your skin is actually looking olive-y.
The rest of us are not.
You're proving your genetics come from Grammy's family too.

You're pulling up on any stationary or temporarily stationary thing you can get your hands on.
A chair, the coffee table, my legs, your brother's head...thankfully he thinks you're hilarious.
The feeling is mutual. You guys are getting to be good buddies.
Your sister loves to mother you & make you smile.
You love that girl.
You've stopped eating rice cereal & have moved on to oatmeal & anything real I'll let you have.
You love to listen to Gateway worship or Chris Tomlin in the car or at home.
You are my sunshine & the itsy bitsy spider are favorites too.
You had your first stomach virus this month. Sad.
Thankfully it was short lived.
I love you more everyday & are more than grateful I get to call you mine.
You're my favorite Truett ever.

Baby Man's First Year {Truett 9 months}

Truett will be a year next week.
Sigh.
So grateful for this little guy.
Here's to catching up!

Truett, at 9 months you are a busy, happy little guy.
You are crawling, pulling up, & starting to grasp play.
You love to follow me from room to room, & I laugh at myself a lot, calling you from room to room like a puppy.
But you come, & you laugh, & you smile, so I just keep on.

At 9  months, you have your first official tooth & got your first official ear infection.
Also. You do not like taking any sort of medication.
It is quite the fight.
And we both end up sticky.

Your brother & sister think you are amazing.
When you started pulling up, you sent them over the top.
You are amazing. We all agree with that.

At 9 months, you're wearing size 3 diapers.
You love green beans & fruit.
You love to drink water from your cup & you are my best baby at it.
You think you are big stuff when you get something off my plate.
You're sleeping 10- 12 hours every night & take 2 great naps with a 3rd that you just really don't like.
And biggest news of all. You are talking already.
You say "no, no, no" to the dog & uh-oh.
You love to wave hi & bye & can even sign all done.
And your mama can't believe it.
You are one awesome dude, Truey Bear.
Happy 9 months!

Easter 2013

Well. These pictures have been waiting to be posted for too long!
Happy Easter a month later;)!
We had a wonderful Easter weekend starting at my mom & dad's with them & my aunt & uncle.
My kids were the only little ones there, & that suited them just fine.
Easter egg hunts at Grammy & Poppy's make me want to be a kid again!
They sure know how to spoil their grandkids...

Giddy.

Oh, those kids.

Also. Look who is turning into a big kid before my eyes.
Too fast, Tuck, too fast.

Truett got in on the fun this year.
He, of course, was more interested in eating dirt and grass than looking in his eggs.
His sister did not understand.

Easter Sunday, we're at Mitchel's parents.
We are a very blessed family to have both our families so close.
And our kids greatly enjoy those benefits...if you know what I mean;).

Girlfriend proudly wearing the dress she picked all by herself this year.
After my mom took her all over creation looking, she came away with the first one they looked at.
That was plain. And white.
3 guesses as to why this little lady chose a plain, white dress.
We may be in trouble...

That baby. Melt my heart.
 Trouble, I tell ya.

Always the life of the party.
Even if there is none.

He was telling us the Easter story.
In his cute, distracted, animated way.
On our way to hunt more eggs that is...

Yes. That is my husband.
The one who is 31. The same one who once broke his leg jumping out of a tree.
And I now wear the worry of 2 of his sons.
Sheesh.

We spent Easter with good friends that we miss so much.
Coop. In his shades.
When I think of Cooper in my mind, he is wearing sunglasses.
I love that.

Joy.

Cousins were there too.
But only one little guy.

Talk about growing fast.
This girl. Beauty.

My Parker may not have an actual sister, but she is sure blessed with a sweet sister friend.

These guys.

Broken arm.
Doesn't hinder egg hunting.

Sweet buddies.

Proof he lived. Haaa...

Mimi. She loves her grandkids good.
The feeling is mutual.
Easter is one of my favorite times of year.
Bringing family together to celebrate the only reason we have joy, peace, life, & love.
We had a wonderful season celebrating the gift Jesus gave us all.
And ended it in a way that could not be topped.
